Hollywood and Highland
39 x 42 inches

Currently this is a group of three quilts but I intend to connect them into one unit.
This is quilt number 3 of my California Landmark Series.

It has been a really long time since I updated my blog, but I have not stopped quilting.  Here are my latest creations.

The Red Shoes

Premier at Long Beach International Quilt Show - July 26-29, 2012
Also will be at Pennsylvania National in fall of 2012
and Pacific National in 2013
The picture looks a little beige due to poor lighting but is actually white.

Liberty Lost - 2004
17 x 18 inches

This is my statement about 9/11.  We have become
a nation of people that are more concerned with
security than freedom.  We will miss those who were lost.

The Eternal Goddess - 2009

28 " x 38"

She walks in the sun and dances in the moonlight.

She is wife, mother, lover, protector and friend.

She laughs, cries, loves, and rages against injustice.

She was, is, and forever shall be the Eternal Goddess.

Poem by me

The goddess figures are sculpted dolls and attached
to the quilt.
This is traveling during 2009 and 2010 as
part of the
Archeology Challenge from Quilts on the Wall.
